Transition in the Modern World

Unlike what they say in the movies
life has the inertia of a battleship.
Just packing a few years of
identity and taking
just what you can't
abandon takes months
and the unreliable
cooperation of others.
Dying may be
the most efficient
way to alter course.
You can do it alone.
It reflects true
worth. You can
ignore what is
legal and
you can
afford.
