LXII-5 Humor

Allen brought up the subject, but I think we need to laugh more. Especially in these days.

Speaking of stories:
Ole: Did you know, Sven, it costs tens of millions of dollars to build a rocket?
Sven: I imagine it does
Ole: I wish I had the money to build a rocket
Sven: Why Ole, what would you do with a rocket?
Ole: I don’t want a rocket, just the money.

What did King George think about the American colonists?
He thought they were revolting
<<>>
Ole: Doctor you have to help me, I think I am becoming invisible
Doctor: Yes, I can see that you are not all there

Humor
By Bill Backstrom

Sort of like the old saying,
“You need to stop and smell the roses”
While we are all graying
Enjoy humor before life closes

Especially when times are tough
But even when the going is easy
A smile, a chuckle, a guffaw, such stuff
Makes the day better, not queasy

I can draft up a limerick
with a trace of humor
I can do it quite quick
at least that is the rumor

There once was a painter named Steve
Allergies to paint made him heave
He coughed once too often
Now he resides in a coffin
Leaving the rest of us to grieve

true, true, Bill

and you once again proved the rumor true with another great limerick -- I'm amazed!
