The World Outside My Window

Sun
squintingly bright
burns through morning fog
it was there
all along


Air
so still
leaves float
stright down


Squirrel
tightrope dances
on bare tree branch

It's true, Wayne - Allen's poem this morning leaves the impression of depth with ease

Still, from these I am connected visually, and my sense of touch is engaged -- bright sun's finally appearing is enhanced / that leaf, not often one sees this / and those squirrels -- balance by tail!
